Down to single digits

Only 9 pounds to go. 35.2 pounds lost in total.

I wore short shorts for the first time in over 10 years and no one has died from horror yet by seeing me. I'm feeling pretty thrilled about this fact.

The diet has been going extremely well. I've switched out the galette for breakfast in favour of non sugar non fat vanilla flavoured Activia with the two tablespoons of oatbran. It's much tastier and doesn't take so much time to make.

I've been sick the past week and a half. Some nasty virus. Sore throat and a cough from hell. I wasn't able to sleep at night because of all the coughing so I finally caved in and went to see a doctor. None of the OTC cough meds were working so she gave me some codeine pills. I've been drugged up on those for the past few days and it's helping, very little coughing and I'm sleeping better.
It's difficult finding cough syrups and lozenges that contain no sugar but I managed and has gained no weight while being sick. There were a few points where I almost caved in and went for the chicken noodle soup.. but I talked myself out of it.

I've been having some anxiety about the consolidation phase. I've been trying to find blogs from other people who have done it successfully but it seems most of them are about the cruise phase. Mostly I worry about gaining ALL the weight back once I start eating bread again. I know I should have faith in the system, it's worked so far, but there's always that little part of me that's thinking this is all too good to be true. Consolidation phase is very rapidly approaching, only 9 pounds to go. With the speed I've been losing so far it should be 2 maybe 3 more weeks. I'm hoping I'll be able to maintain at 141.

Normal BMI

I'm feeling super happy. My BMI is back in a normal range again. No more overweight classification. Yay!

This morning I weighed 156.2 pounds, that's a 29 pounds total weight loss and my BMI is at 24.4. This is even after a PV day, I usually gain or stay still after a PV day.

As consolidation draws closer I'm starting to feel a bit anxious about it. What if it does work? What if I regain all that weight? The prospect of eating bread again almost scares me. It feels almost as if I'd balloon up again just from one bite. I know this is technically not possible.. but my brain still spins the possibility.

I'm going to scour the web and forums for people who talk about their consolidation phase experiences to see if I'm just being silly thinking like this. Though.. I'm not there yet, 14.2 pounds to go (almost single digits now!!)
